Is mise raiblín! My main interests are web application development and high performance computing (and helping my wonderful fiancée plan our wedding).

I had my first real introduction to Linux and (quality German beer) as an admin for NUIG Compsoc. It’s a university club made up of folks interested in technology. We ran tutorials, played games and helped raise some money for worthy causes such as the Ábalta School in Galway.

In 2008, I worked as a research intern at DERI Ireland, in the Semantic Web Services cluster.

I graduated with honours from NUI, Galway in 2009, after completing the B.Sc Information Technology degree program.

After finishing my course, I worked for Letshost.ie, a large Irish web hosting company. I’m now working in Dublin as a systems programmer with The Irish Centre for High End Computing where I have responsibility for all aspects of infrastructure and technical operations for ICHEC’s Dublin office.
